ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS
Assalamu ‘ alaikum every body. Good morning Sir, good morning friends. How are you today? Okay every body, in this opportunity, I want to share with you all about electronics components. It is a thing that so close with us. Because we are an aspirant electronic engineer. Every day, every where, we always connect with it.
There are so many electronics components around us. As we all already understood, that electronics component is divided into two kinds. An active component and inactive component. An active component is an electronics component which make a significance different value when active on a circuit.. For example are transistors, integrated circuit or IC, mosfet and much other .While inactive electronics component is a component which only receive a different value from other component on circuit. In exact, an inactive component is like a receiver device. For example are resistor, capacitor, LDR etc.
. Okay every body, now, let me explain one of them. First, an active device. Let’s explain about transistor. Transistor is an electronic component which always found in almost electronic circuit. It is called transistor, because this component have three electrode. There are base, collector and emitter. Transistor is made of semi conductor materials. Usually it made of silicon or germanium. Transistor have two configuration, due to the junction composition. Configurations of the transistor are PNP and NPN. The symbol, is shown at figure number one. And figure number two is a shape or physic of transistor. Generally, transistor is used in amplifier system. Current amplifier and also voltage amplifier. But some times, transistor is not used in amplifier system, but it is used in switching system. So it is a multifunction electronic component.
Next, let’s explain about an inactive components. For example is LDR. LDR is abbreviate of Light Dependent Resistor. The symbol is like figure number three. And the physic is like figure number four. It is one kind of resistors which will work if get a light. So, LDR is included photo electric device. It resistance value will change due to the light intensity. LDR, usually used as tranducer in many circuit. For example in automatic lamp switch, letter pair of scale etc. So, LDR is an electronics component which always work as sensor or tranducer in circuit.
